Speed up production with an Automatic Pouch Opener

IMPAK's Machine Engineering team in our Los Angeles, California facility has taken another bold step forward in helping customers to process high volumes of packaging quickly.

Our bench-top pouch opener increases throughput by eliminating manual pouch opening in product loading applications. Pouches are inserted into an adjustable magazine, the activated unit picks and opens them individually for hands-free loading, and it then releases each filled pouch for separate heat sealing. The unit picks, opens, and releases pouches at an automated rate or can be operated by foot pedal. When rapid deployment is crucial for your product, our Automatic Pouch Opener will potentially double or triple your operational efficiency.

Now Supporting QuickPouch.com Customers for Repairs and New Equipment

quickpouch mini pouch opener

QuickPouch.com was the dba name for Adaptive Manufacturing Technologies of New York. For many years, the company conducted business and built machines in Ronkonkoma for a wide range of industries, but primarily the medical industry. On August 21st, 2024 the company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which is a complete dissolution and sale of assets.

IMPAK Corporation - a highly regarded producer of flexible packaging and heat sealing and vacuum sealing equipment for medical, semiconductor, aerospace, and other applications - has made the decision to use its engineering expertise to begin supporting the existing QuickPouch equipment. While our validatable medical sealer systems are primarily built with a Siemens-based control system, the majority of QuickPouch machinery was produced with the Allen-Bradley control system. IMPAK will be supporting the QuickPouch platform however its customers require. If you are an owner of a QuickPouch machine, feel free to reach out to us and see how we can help you with maintenance and future expansions.

It is very important to understand that if you are one of the companies that, unfortunately, had a significant (sometimes six-figure or greater) deposit with Adaptive Manufacturing Technologies / QuickPouch at the time they closed their doors, IMPAK Corporation has absolutely no financial relationship with the prior company.
