Box Liners

Our box liners are actually industrial strength barrier bags. Think of them as providing a clean barrier to the permeable outside carton. These are not always standard polyethylene liners; we prefer polyester (Mylar) with a foil laminate structure to provide a stable package with moisture and oxygen barrier properties as well as puncture resistance. These liners are commonly used for export packaging of nut meats, nutritional supplement mixes, microencapsulated fish oil, and a wide range of non-food products, including plastic resin pellets and polymers.

The vast majority of box liners are produced to customer specifications from one of the readily available 53+ laminated film structures on our factory floor. Contact IMPAK to ask about creating a custom box liner to fit your production needs.

Box liners are also a great way to improve production throughput. For customers who are dealing in large portion goods with high barrier requirements, a box liner can help speed up packaging and keep work areas clean. For goods like bulk jerky, you can simply:

Vaccum and/or Gas Flush to get the ideal packaging environment for transit. Included Oxygen Abosrbers or Desiccant packets help keep the package environment stable after sealing.
