Calcium Oxide

Calcium oxide, also known as quicklime, is a type of calcinated or recalcinated lime with a moisture adsorption capacity of at least 28.5% by weight. What sets calcium oxide apart is its ability to absorb a significantly higher amount of water vapor at very low relative humidity compared to other substances. This makes it particularly effective in situations requiring low critical relative humidity and where there is a high concentration of water vapor.
